MOVIES

This month turned out to be sort of the Movie Month for me..is it because i have too much time? or is it because there too many movies in town? or perhaps it's just me have nothing else to do after my working hours...

So this is the first time for me try to write some comments about these movies OR @ least from my point of view, a view of the Very Less Important Person in this world..

Let us begin with The Taking of Pelham 123...staring John Travolta and Denzel Washington..It is another masterpiece from Tony Scott, a story where the Goods beat the Evils. The difference is that the good guy is a nobody as well as the bad guy. The main attraction for audience to stick to their chairs are the conversations between the two main characters...the scripts are superb...the plot although predictable but the people are kept waiting for what is more to come out from the characters mouth..the synical and yet surprising reactions are well perfomed by Mr. Travolta and Mr Washington..what more can i say..people know who are they and what are they capable of. Anyhow...it is a very good movie...4 stars out of 5.



Now, lets move on to Public Enemy staring by who else than Mr.Depp as Johnny Dillinger.Based on the true story of this legendary bank robber, Mr. Depp plays a very good role as the main character who are always cool despites being the most wanted man in the U.S. at that time. What i can say is, this is the movie which people can remember for a long time since Dick Tracy and Godfather's epic. However, the heroin is merely playing her part and not mesmerizing the audience at all( And i can't even bother to recall her name!!) Miss Kiera Knightly could be a better choice..and im saying this not because im so fanatic with the Pirates trilogy, it's just my personal view, since she also has the '50's babes' look or perhaps Mrs. Winslet can be another better choice. To conclude..i can give 3 stars..still worth watching.


Then we jump to the fantasy part..the Harry Porter latest installation...Half Blood Prince... it is a movie basically made for the real fan of HP, otherwise, you have to watch the 1st movie and carry on until you reach this latest one to understand what actually the casts are talking about. Harry is no longer a boy but rather become a matured teenager. And I can agree with reviews saying that this new movie is less darker then its predecessor..the Order of the Pheonix..which means we can bring our kids to watch it without facing the problem to cover their eyes.. i give 3 stars..


For romantic comedy, The Proposal is quite different. Ray Reynolds and Sandra Bullock play a lively yet extraordinary couple transforming from a boss-personal assistant relationships into the instant bride-groom to be with all the sceptical and lively humors. Except "NINE", i can proudly say that Ray Reynolds is a multitasking actor and romantic comedy is his best.Sandra on the other hand is not so dissappointed, but don't expect more then Ms. Congeniality. Again, Ray Reynold make this movie more fun to watch. 4 stars...



Last but not least, SETEM, a local production directed by Khabir Bhatia...the same method of co-incidents and the connection between characters towards the end of the movie is very predictable. I hope Mr. Khabir could think of a new and interesting method for his next movie because although his current method is quite different from other local movie maker and become his signature, people will sooner or later get bored and that is not a good news for a director. And talking about the same actors used ..like Afdlin, Vanida,Que Haidar and few others is rather lame although those actors played their characters well. People want to see more new faces palying the main roles. The plot is however deserve thumbs up. A fresh idea.. and the comedy....very well blended..spontanious and have the good ingredients to be called funny. Personally, for a local movie...., SETEM is till a very good choice to watch..your money is worth in each penny spent. 4 stars from me...BRAVO.



There goes for movies that i watched this month alone..GI JOE is my next destination.. Enjoy your movies..!!

LAMBAIAN MEKAH 2009

Setelah 25 tahun aku meninggalkan bumi Arab Saudi, Insya Allah , jika diizinkan Ramadhan ini aku bakal menjadi tetamu Allah.Semoga perjalanan aku nanti di redhai dan diberkati. Semoga doa-doaku dihadapan Kaabah nanti akan dimakbulkan tanpa hijjab dan semoga perjalanan dan ibadah umrahku tidak diuji dgn ujian2 yang tidak mampu untuk aku tanggung... FAMILY..its time to honour it

We are living in this synical world where we are so busy with our daily routines whether we like it or not....

The family values are slowly vaporized from our main consideration in our daily priorities. As long as we can afford to pay all the bills that we created to ourself and make others richer... we are good with it.

NOW , even the motivational speakers are talking rubbish , because they are no longer motivate their audience but their own pocket....so who should we depends on now to keep our family relationsships and values continue?..the answer is US..

Anyway, its our family after all, we are the one who knows better.... we know how to build it then we are the best to ensure it is well-maintained....we are the architect, engineer,artist,founder,or whatever we call it...we own our family .

Everybody should play their roles in the family...because when the sad moment comes, families are the shoulders for us to cry on. Yes, others can say sorry and lay down their sympathy but for how long...., it will last... up to the moment they left our front door..

so its you family is what it count most!!!


I know all of us know about this...but are we always treat our family as what we should...and YEs , no body is perfect...yet a good family doest not mean a perfect family and that is when the values come into action...if the values is there, the bonding will get better and a good bonding creates a wiser man.

The first step is...keep in touch with your family...by whatever means at least once everyday....


A BETTER FAMILY CREATE A BETTER SOCIETY, A BETTER SOCIETY CREATES A BETTER NATION....THE KEY IS.......... WE CAN BE BETTER THAN WHAT WE ARE NOW...

HOW SMALL IS OUR WORLD

sometimes we thought our world is so large that we can never bump into the same space, meet the same person or having the same conversations again but everything is possible nowdays...

We can reach our long last friends, talking about old memories whilst at the same time we are living in two separate part of the world.Thanks to the internet...

the world is really FLAT now and the people living in it is cramed into this cyberspace looking for all sort of things, from the most complicated info up to the most tiny things, like how to pick ur nose correctly...its all in here

I wonder what it will be in the next generations..perhaps then we can move from point A to point B by blinking our eyes ..maybe

WHATS NEXT?? WHO KNOWS...

This is my first post since the new year..well, the 2nd month almost finish...how fast the time passed by...

Hmm..many things happened although the year have only kick started...first, the Malaysian politics is still in the 'election mood' continuing from last March till now and situation would be the same until next April..what a fuss..Defection in Perak States Government is the prime issues accompanied with the "DERHAKA"proclaimation by some immatured personnels and politicians until the Rulers have to spell out their regrets...

Economical wise, the evil Recessions seems to reach our shores here and there and everyone starts to tight up their financials ...me no exceptions..clients are far more fussy then ever and our collections have been droping consistently till we have to restructure our management before its too late..meaning MORE WORKS LESS MONEY..sighs...sometimes it feels like i want to giving up everything and start it over but it is definitely impossible taking into account of the remaining cases handled by us.Our business is not merely CASH & CARRY, its a CASH & COMMITMENT till the end of it!!

On the same point, people throughout the world still waiting how should the new MR OBAMA reacts to the current situations..because like they self-proclaimed as the WORLD RULER, a single move from the UNCLE SAM's should effect us all...so it depends how fast and effective that move is...and whatever it is the world is in crisis now, the unemployment rates moving up like rockets and the stock exchange is moving down at faster speed..

It makes me wonder..who decides that we have to depend on them..why not us find our own solutions...now it is no more an issue of how many budget reinforcements announced by the government because no matter how much money we spat out, as long as the dependency is there it would end our limited sources and when that happen, it is a doom for all. If our previous mechanism (97-98's turmoil)of escaping from such dependency seems effective, why shouldn't we reuse it and be affirm with. After all it is our money being sucked off our shores, we really need to stop it cause that money is more useful domestically. In the end, i think it is a question of egoistic and self issues of our current leaders just refusing to follow their predecessor even it is obviously the best method we have.What more could i say....

so what is next? the current captain seems in his countdown mood and the successor otherwise is still in shopping mood, just in case his ambitions would not materialise...

Speking as a mere "marhain"...whatever will happen next...everyone should realize that it is the time where WE should take care of Ourself...Who knows...that would be the answer..

Enough for this time..its time to move on and catching up all the remains..
